This sweet little thing celebrated her first birthday this summer! I thought she was a total sweetheart, even if she didn't think much of me at all. LOL I really enjoyed working with your family, thank you for letting me be a part of "A's" first birthday!

In no particular order, just a few of my faves from Saturday's session at the river with one of my favorite families.
Whenever someone books a session, I usually hear... "What should we wear?" My standard line is wear something you feel great in, wear a color that is flattering to you and coordinate - don't match.
But let's face it, we are all pretty visual people! So I've come up with a way showcase some sample outfits and post them here on my blog. I'll try to post at least one a week. No need to be exact, but hopefully these ideas will give you a starting point when shopping for that perfect outfit!

Could she be any cuter? Or happier? Baby "A" made my job so easy yesterday, I kind of felt bad for telling them the session was over! I just love the 9 month mark, I always thought if I could give birth to a 9 month old I'd have 100 children.

And I think this daddy is going to have the best Father's Day gift ever! I had the opportunity to photograph this amazing set of sisters yesterday and what a hoot they were! I just loved every minute of it, especially when "G" tried to pick me up at the end. I mistook her mighty power for a big hug, but I think if she grows just a little more, she might succeed next time I see her! And little Miss "M" was just so funny. I can see her and my Kelsey would have a lot in common. Always going for the laugh, which is a wonderful trait to have. And baby "E"... Oh my aching heart, she was a sweet peanut and could sing better than any 18 month old I've ever witnessed!
Truly happy children make my job a daily joy. Thank you for coming over to play today!

Maternity and newborn portraits are quickly becoming one of my favorite things. I just love the excitement and anticipation that comes with an approaching due date and I love capturing these special moments for families.
