SPF PSA

I'd like to remind all you moms and dads out there that April is not too early to apply the SPF sunscreen to the little ones.

We spent all day Saturday at Grandpa's cabin and now Jack and I are both suffering from lack of sunscreen this weekend. Sunburned babies are no fun. And my face hurts.

On a happy note - isn't it nice to have to finally worry about it! I love warm weather!

Back for more!

He came back for more! Well... we just didn't think we had enough variety from his session last week so he came back to try again. He was much happier this time and that makes me happy too! And if you can tear your eyes away from his amazing baby face, check out that chubba bubba belly. I wanted to zerbert him, but... I refrained.

aaahhhh... a nice deep baby sleep.

precious babies in precious baby hats make me smile.

All right, that's all I've got for now! Enjoy!

Melt my heart moments...

Here's a fabulous little sneak peek for the "R" family. There are just too many amazing images for me to choose which to show here! You all made it way too easy, especially little "T", what an awesome little model.

1) T, showing us his happy face.

2) Melt my heart moments... Is it right to be jealous of my own customers, for giving them something I want for myself?

3) Shy guy...

That's all for now!

Team up with us at the Miller Family Fundraiser!

Last November, I had the great pleasure to work with the Miller family as we created some very special family portrait memories for them. You may remember the posts I made about them.http://beckyedwardsphotography.blogspot.com/2007/11/m-familys-sneak-peek.html

Their wonderful friends and family have organized a fundraising dinner and silent auction for them on Friday April 25, 2008. I am posting some details below, I'm sure it will be a great event and I hope anyone that can attend will do so. I know I will be there!

Here is a little tidbit taken from the flyer for the fundraiser:
About the Family:
The Miller Family is suffering the loss of their son Nathaniel. Nathaniel was only 15 months old when he flew up to heaven. Nathaniel’s sisters Emma-7 and Isabel-3 are also having a hard time missing their only brother. Nathaniel was in and out of Children’s Hospital during his 15 months. He was born with congenital heart defect, Atrial Ventricular Septal Defect and with anomalies with his ribs and spine. However, you would never know it. He was a happy, lovable little boy. You can watch his video on his website ~ Sneakydave.com/themillers Nathaniel taught all of us here on earth how to live and love more deeply! Parents Jeff & Shelli Miller have also struggled for the last five years with their daughter Emma who was diagnosed with Cancer & OMS in 2002. Emma is doing better but still struggles with being sick a lot. The Millers have showed so many of us how to stay together as a family and how to keep strong. At this time, I invite everyone to join in giving to the Millers in some way ~ to say thank you for sharing your family with all of us and for showing us the strength of your faith in family, friends and in God. Please join us in support of helping the Miller family!
Thank you for your kindness!

For every paid session fee for sessions booked from May 1 - June 30, 2008 we will donate $35 of the session fee directly to the Miller family.

And for every paid session fee for sessions booked in Sept 2008, we will donate $35 of the session fee to Children's Hospital for toys, arts, crafts and games in honor of Nate Miller's birthday.

I hope to see lots and lots of people at the fundraiser, but if you can't make it, know that you can still make a difference by teaming up with us in May, June and Sept!
