Would you ever think that these beautiful portraits were taken in less than inviting conditions? We encountered a good ol' Nebraska July evening - muggy, buggy, hot and icky, but you would never know it judging by the smiles on these kids' faces! They were super sports about it and I think... I really think... they actually had a good time! I know I did!
Collages are one of the many products we offer and they are extremely popular! All collages are designed by artist's choice in either 10x10, 12x12 or 10x20 sizes. It's a great way to creatively display images from your session, plus they're just plain cool!
This family holds a special place in my heart, the girl and my daughter are "Best Friends Forever". We started with a little natural light studio arrangement and moved to my "secret beach". These siblings have a great connection and I love that they trusted me capture it.

November 15, 2007 is the last day for ordering Holiday Cards and Gift Items. Which means the Holiday session cut-off will be November 5th. You can still schedule your sessions after November 5th, but you will probably not receive your order in time for the holidays.
August 25 - Sept 20, 2007 is fully booked. Which means I will be taking Fall and Holiday sessions from Sept 21 - November 5, 2007. Book now to get the best dates! You know those weekend spots will go fast!

One the greatest things about photographing a wedding is being witness to pure emotion and being able to capture that for a lifetime of memories.
My favorite of the day and literally the LAST shot. You can just feel the total joy radiating from this image. A show stopper for sure!
I met a friend last night for dinner in the Old Market. She's a great photographer in Duluth, MN. You can check out her site here http://www.nicolemarie.biz/. She is in town this weekend to shoot a wedding and has invited me to shoot along side her!
I don't know why photographers have such an obsession with shooting other photographers while they are shooting.... but we just do. LOL! Perhaps it is because we know the one behind the camera never gets in front of the camera. We traded cameras for a while, so this was taken by her using my camera of me using her camera. I think that pretty much cements our friendship. :)
After dinner we met up with her husband and son and had a mini shoot out with her son as our model. This is her sweet little man. I'm not sure who won the shoot out... but I am sure that there will more competition at this wedding today! Stay tuned!
